Performance and Party

We’re super excited to bring you WAO-UNA TERTULIA: a gathering to share ideas & talents centered around Dominican culture, artists, and voices. We will hear words, see them come to life, talk about them, and party!

This event will feature Literature to Life’s SOLO performance of The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao by Junot Díaz, as well as spoken word performances by performing artists from Dominican Artists Collective (DAC), a live reading of Elizabeth Acevedo’s “Clap When You Land” by DAC, and time to socialize!
