Mara Manus & Megan White Arts Leadership Meetup
West Harlem Arts Alliance invites you to meet Mara Manus, Executive Director and Megan White, Deputy Director of Programs, of the New York State Council on the Arts, NYSCA.
For decades, the New York State Council on the Arts has served as a model of government funding for the Arts, and most recently helped the State’s arts community navigate the difficult waters of the COVID 19 crisis.
Mara Manus and Megan White will join with members of the Upper Manhattan arts and cultural community to discuss their vision for NYSCA at this time of difficult budget challenges for the state. This gathering also provides an opportunity for arts leaders from our communities to engage directly with NYSCA leadership, to hear their plans and priorities for the Council, and to share with them a sense of our community’s cultural landscape, aspirations, and challenges.
Please note: Video or Audio recordings of any kind, especially by cell phone, is strictly prohibited.
