The Inwood Film Festival presented by Inwood Art Works is a community event in a world class city, intent on showcasing the sights, sounds, people and talents of the filmmakers that reside in Inwood, NYC and its surrounding community and filmmakers that make their films in the community.
All films must be either made in Inwood, Washington Heights, Marble Hill, Kingbridge, or Riverdale, or by former or current residents and students in these communities.
The film festival will take place in-person and online on IFF+.
Categories will include:
• Short Shorts – exhibition of films 5″ or less made by people from Inwood and its surrounding community or made in the Inwood community.
• Long Shorts – exhibition of short films 25″ minutes or less made by people from Inwood and its surrounding community or made in the Inwood community.
• Feature Films – exhibition of feature films made by people from Inwood and its surrounding community or made in the Inwood community.
• Student Films – exhibition of films made by current students who reside or attend school in the Inwood community or made in Inwood.
• Web Series – Web series made by people from Inwood and its surrounding community or made in the Inwood community.
Submissions close December 25, 2023.

Festival dates will be in March or May 2024.
