Harlem Grown
Artists wanted! Harlem Grown’s Culture, Creativity, and Care Initiative is hosting an Open Call for visual artists to showcase their work at the Sankofa installation in Marcus Garvey Park. This is an opportunity to celebrate the talent and beauty that exists throughout Harlem.
This is not a call for commission. This is a call for completed artwork for exhibition purposes. Harlem Grown will reproduce selected artwork in material for outdoor display that will be about 4ft x 4ft. – Harlem Grown will cover reproduction, installation and deinstallation. – Artist will retain ownership of all original artwork/files. At the end of exhibition period, the artist may decide to donate reproduced panel or keep it for themselves (all donated pieces will be displayed in HG facilities with artist recognition).
