Come and create photos in community, level up your skills, and connect with our diverse network of photographers that includes everyone from full time professionals, to hobbyists, to everyone in between.

The entrance for NoMAA’s office and Studios is located on West 176th Street, just east of Broadway, at the United Palace Stage Door.

Hey photographers, it’s time for YOU to step in front of the camera! Join us for a day of fun and creativity as we pair up photographers to capture portraits of each other.

PLEASE NOTE: This event is for photographers only. You must bring your own camera to the event and feel comfortable operating it. (Beginner photographers should check out our Sunday event!)

Here’s how it works: We’ll have various lighting setups and backgrounds for you to shoot in at NoMAA Studios’ brand new professional photo studios.

We’ll have a short tutorial on using the equipment and photographing portraits before we start shooting.

We’ll pair you up with fellow photographers and you’ll rotate through different setups, and pairings, capturing and being captured by a variety of talented photographers.

After our studio session, we’ll head to the nearby J-Hood Wright Park to enjoy the sunset to take more natural portraits.

Not only will you have the opportunity to get great new headshots from different photographers, you’ll also be able to practice your own skills and maybe learn some new tricks!

Snacks and drinks will be provided. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions with your ticket purchase.
