Lilia Levin
I am an artist, jewelry designer, educator, curator, volunteer, New Yorker, mom of two. I am passionate about my planet, my country, my city, my community, my family. I am passionate about art. I believe that my work is a tiny but present piece in the whole that is humanity. I believe in the oneness of humanity and in the importance of each individual being.
Many of my graphic works and paintings are both personal and philosophical. They are about the demand for enlightenment and unity that replaces the fear of loss and displacement. Some of my work, like the watercolors, are simply about love. All of it is also about beauty: the beauty of the line and of colors in a watercolor, drawing, or a piece of jewelry.
This week’s episode of Thursdays with NoMAA is sponsored by Sugar Hill Children’s Museum of Art & Storytelling
