The Origin Story – Writing Workshop (February Break!)

He was a polio survivor turned ultimate soldier-superhero to fight in World War II. She wasn’t always an evil stepmother; she was a child fairy who was terribly wronged. Every character has a past… you just need to draw it.

We’ll delve into the process of creating comic book characters with crazy, sad, exciting, intense, complicated, and most of all, fascinating backstories. Whether your character is a hero, a villain, a sidekick, an anti-hero, or just a regular person, we’ll write and draw story arcs that grip the reader, leaving them desperate for the next issue.

This workshop is three three-hour classes, and all artistic materials will be provided.
