Summer Feminist Film Series #2: Split at the Root

Our Summer Feminist Film Series continues! ☀️🎬

This time, we are screening Split at the Root by Linda Goldstein Knowlton, a powerful documentary that follows the journey of mothers separated from their children at the U.S-Mexico border and a grassroots initiative that aims to reunite those families.

After the film, we will host a discussion about the systemic nature of family separation in the USA and about how UWF, through our School Care Circles Project, is tackling one of the current manifestations of this cruel practice.

This screening is a collaboration between Undocumented Women’s Fund, Rosa Luxemburg Foundation, NYC- DSA Latinos Socialistas, and Movement for Family Power.
