The Scandinavian Music Festival

The Scandinavian Music Festival is a unique series of three concerts performed by members of the Scandia Symphony on Sundays in June on Billings Lawn in Fort Tryon Park. Events start at 2:00 PM. Program content features Classical, Romantic and Contemporary music by composers of all five Scandinavian countries.

The Scandia Chamber Orchestra will perform works by Johan Helmich Roman, Lars-Erik Larsson, Josefine Opsahl and Frank Foerster. Lisa Hansen, Soloist. Dorrit Matson, Conductor
