The Heirloom Room + RIMA JEWELS

The Heirloom Room is a social practice workshop devised by local artist Rosario Moore Arteaga and made possible through the LMCC Su-Casa Residency. The Heirloom Room explores topics of cultural legacy and inheritance through multiple means including collecting and illustrating proverbs, reading and writing poetry and crafting one of a kind sterling silver jewelry works. Participants from the ARC XVI Senior Center will be on site to talk about their multi-media creations, process, and their lost wax cast sterling silver jewelry. Their original poems will also be read aloud. Come and see what the seniors at ARC have been creating since March of this year in this final June 23 2026 exhibition.
