Her exceptional sewing, designing, and dressmaking talents earned her both freedom and fame as the premier fashion designer for 19th century governmental wives; even in the midst of the Civil War. As exclusive dressmaker for Mary Todd Lincoln, we enter the hearts and minds of the President and Mrs. Lincoln.
