#StayHomeOpenStudios with Michelle Asarch

NoMAA presents a series of studio tours with Uptown artists each Thursday at 7:30pm.
Open Studios are a much anticipated part of the Uptown Arts Stroll. NoMAA is continuing that tradition with our series of virtual tours.

Michelle Asarch is an artist and art educator from Long Island, NY residing in Washington Heights. Drawing, painting, ceramics, printmaking, sculpture, and photography are jut some of the mediums that Michelle focuses on in her own art practice but her recent area of focus has been figure studies with exaggerated contrast and lighting. Her artwork has been featured in the “Rise and Shine,” and “We Art Educators” 2017 and 2018 galleries in Harlem. She currently is the sole art teacher of an Elementary charter school in Mott Haven, fostering creativity and inspiration for young students.
