Reopening of the Sugar Hill Children’s Museum of Art & Storytelling
Broadway Housing Communities announces the reopening of its Sugar Hill Children’s Museum to the public on Saturday, June 5th from 10am to 3pm at 155th Street and St. Nicholas Ave. All are welcome! Join us for Art Making on the plaza at 10am and 2pm, and the launch of Stories on the Stoop featuring April Armstrong and her band at 11am, Linda Hume at 1pm and Rachael Harrington at 2pm. The Museum itself reopens with two landmark exhibitions by its Artists-In-Residence; La Huerta y Yo/The Garden and I, solo exhibition by Lina Puerta, and But No Elephants!, group exhibition by Damien Davis, Derek Fordjour, Leslie Jiménez and David Shrobe. Tickets are available at sugarhillmuseum.org, social distancing safety protocols will be followed and masks required.
