Larry and Friends: Storytelling Hour with Carla Torres and Nat Jasper

West Harlem Arts: Resilience 2021 | Children’s Program

For ages 7 and Up

Join us for a special storytelling hour with Carla Torres and Nat Jaspar, authors of “Larry and Friends” – a captivating story about immigration and integration that celebrates diversity and supports tolerance.

Larry is the dog who is a juggler from Brooklyn and his friends are a diverse set of animals from different places of the world. The story tells why the characters end up relocating in New York and how they became friends with Larry. Throughout the story these animal characters emanate the most luminous light of the human spirit.
