“Kibou” Kaé Sato Solo Exhibition

This title of this solo exhibition which showcases recent artworks by Kaé Sato means Hope in Japanese.  Kaé Sato is Japanese Nihonga Artist and local to Inwood. The artist brings several artworks of Betta fish which lives in Mekong River that runs through several countries until meet to the ocean. She believes Betta fish represent the power of being freedom and is the key icon for the connection of the people from different cultures. She hopes through her artworks, everyone will have hopes to be together and connect each other in this tough society today.
