Bacchanalia presents baroque and modern music for flute, oboe, harpsichord, and strings –played on period instruments– including J.S. Bach’s much-loved Brandenburg Concerto #5 and the Triple concerto in A minor, plus a rarely heard concerto for flute, oboe d’amore, and viola d’amore by Telemann.
Also included on the program is a new work written for the ensemble by Belarus-American composer Nina Siniakova.
