“Transboundary” by Kae Sato
This solo exhibition showcases recent artworks by Kae Sato, who is Japanese Nihonga Artist and local to Inwood. The artist bring several watercolor drawings of Betta fish which lives in Mekong river that runs through several countries until meet to the ocean. She believes Betta fish represent the power of being freedom and is the key icon for the connection of the people from different culture.
