The Dorothy Maynor Singers is a group of intermediate & advanced vocal students named after the internationally acclaimed concert soprano Dorothy Maynor, founder of Harlem School of the Arts (HSA), which she opened in the basement of the St. James Presbyterian Church in Harlem in 1964.
