Stay cool this summer like they did in the past by designing your own hand-held fan! Before air-conditioning was invented, people kept themselves cool by using hand-held fans. These fans could be simple or elaborate, and people could even send messages to one another by holding their fans in different positions. Learn more about the secret language of fans and make your own unique fan during this month’s Family Day!

Free with pre-registration. Limit of four places per family.
