Sion Papi
A Stop Motion Animation and Art Exhibition
at the Dyckman Farmhouse Museum
Sion Papi is an animated documentary that follows the story of Anne Fernandez who, after the death of her father, embarks on a two-month journey to return his ashes to his homeland— a place she hasn’t set foot in for sixteen years. As she navigates this journey in an unfamiliar country, Anne begins to question who her father truly was during the years he lived there.
The exhibition at the Dyckman Farmhouse Museum will feature a screening of Sion Papi alongside a glimpse into Anne Fernandez’s creative process in making the film.
