Come ready for a soulful and energizing experience. With the drum as our anchor, we will learn foundational steps of Afro-Brazilian movement from Bahia. Allow your hips and spirit to be ignited by this dynamic and beautiful form.

LISA GREEN (Choreographer/Dancer) is a performer, arts administrator, and movement educator based in New York City with over 20 years of experience with the public school system, working in in-school and out-of-school programs. An accomplished performing artist, she is skilled in several dance forms and has performed with many dance companies locally and internationally including Groupo Ribeiro Productions, COco Dance Theatre, Bambara Dance and Music Ensemble, and Ballet Creole. To add to her credits, Lisa also specializes in many fitness and healing modalities, including certification in Holistic Health Counseling (Ayurveda), Yoga and Pilates Instruction.
