DESCRIPTION:\nCALL FOR SUBMISSIONS FOR WASHINGTON HEIGHTS-INWOOD AND WEST HARLEM ARTISTS\nDEADLINE: FEBRUARY 25, 2019\n\n$1,250 Grand Prize 1st place winner\n$500 for 2nd place\n$250 for 3rd place\n\nAPPLY\nREQUIREMENTS\n\nConsideration is given to eye-catching original and unpublished images which highlight the unique characteristics of Northern Manhattan.\nInclude the phrase: 2019 Uptown Arts Stroll / Paseo de las Artes\nDesign must accommodate 11″x17″ poster, and various sizes for social media (300 dpi jpg, 4-5mb)\n\nELIGIBILITY\n\nArtists must be West Harlem, Washington Heights-Inwood residents (W 135th to W 155th St from Edgecombe Ave west to the Hudson River, W155th Street to W 220th St river-to-river)\nArtists may only submit one (1) design for consideration.\n\n1st, 2nd and 3rd PLACE WINNER SELECTION\n\nA panel of distinguished judges from the local arts community will select the grand prize 1st place winner, 2nd and 3rd place winner.\nThe names of the artists will not be submitted to the judges.\nNoMAA owns the intellectual property rights on 2019 Uptown Arts Stroll poster designs for the winner, 2nd and 3rd finalists.\n\nGRAND PRIZE 1st PLACE WINNER AGREES THAT\n\nThe 1st place image will be used exclusively to promote the 2019 Uptown Arts Stroll in print and online.\n\n
