DESCRIPTION:Join Tomorrow’s Ancestors ( http://tomorrowsancestors.com ) and The Met Cloisters ( https://engage.metmuseum.org/events/education/celebrations/festivals/fy27/dia-de-muertos ) for a free art-making workshop and be part of our community ofrenda! Led by artist Blanka Amezkua ( https://www.blankaamezkua.com/ ), who authored the ofrenda for The Met Cloisters’ Día de Muertos celebration in 2024 and 2025, learn the traditional technique of chiseling papel picado, tissue paper flags strung above homes, altars, and streets for celebrations across Mexico.
