DESCRIPTION:The Scandinavian Music Festival is a unique series of three concerts performed by members of the Scandia Symphony on Sundays in June on Billings Lawn in Fort Tryon Park. Events start at 2:00 PM. Program content features Classical, Romantic and Contemporary music by composers of all five Scandinavian countries.\nThe Scandia Brass Quintet will perform their popular repertoire of traditional and contemporary folk tunes and arrangements for brass quintet, representing music from each of the five Scandinavian countries, including their national anthems.\n\n\nJune 7th: Scandia Brass Quintet\n\n\n\nJune 14th: Scandia Chamber Orchestra\n\n\n\nJune 21st: Scandia String Quartet\n\n\n\n\n
