SUMMARY:5th – 10th grade Auditions for Jazz Power Initiative
DESCRIPTION:Free auditions are open for youth in 5th–10th grades to join our year-round afterschool performing arts program. Students of all experience levels are welcome to sing, dance, and act while building confidence, creativity, and community through jazz-based training.\nParticipants dive into the world of jazz arts education, learning from award-winning professional teaching artists, including Senior Voice Teacher Antoinette Montague, Theatre Teacher Kena Onyejekwe, and Managing & Artistic Director Dr. Eli Yamin.\nThe program culminates in a fully staged production at a professional theater, performed with a live professional band.\nProgram led by:Senior Voice Teacher, Antoinette MontagueTheatre Teacher, Kena OnyejekweManaging and Artistic Director, Dr. Eli Yamin, aka “Dr. E”\nAges:5th–10th grades \nAudition dates:June 18th, 2026 4:30 – 7:00 p.m.June 27th, 2026 11:00 – 3:00 p.m.\n
