DESCRIPTION:\nThe West Harlem Arts Collaborative 2023 Exhibition brought together a cohort of 6 artists to collaborate with 7 local community organizations in the creation of a banner design that explores the theme of, EMERGENCY. Which is derived from all of the never ending series of emergent global crises we find ourselves in at this time. West Harlem Arts recognizes that collaborations and partnerships are key to the cultivation and development of arts organizations and centers itself as a meeting place for all members of the community to come together and identify, develop and achieve common goals around serving the community.\n\n\n\nwestharlemarts.org\n\n\n\nWEST HARLEM ARTS EMERGENCY 2023 is made possible with funding from West Harlem Development Corporation, the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, the Ruth Foundation for The Arts and donations from New York Film Academy and Hamilton Heights community members.
