SUMMARY:Workshop – Introduction to Printmaking
DESCRIPTION:In this workshop artists from the Dominican York Proyecto GRAFICA (DYPG) will introduce the medium of printmaking through an introduction and demonstration of print techniques. Artists will guide participants in the creation of a print project combining relief (in the form of linocut, foam and rubber stamp) and screen-printing. This workshop is a basic introduction to printmaking, no experience is necessary.\nThis workshop is part of the Dominican York Proyecto GRAFICA exhibition at the NoMAA Gallery.\nDate: Saturday 27 October 2012, 1–4 p.m.\nLocation: The Cornerstone Center, 1st floor, 178 Bennett Avenue at 189th Street, New York, NY 10040.\nCost: $15. FREE for NoMAA members and students 18 years of age and younger. Space is limited.
