Travel Photography

This workshop teaches the basics of travel photography, in a park that is visited by tourists from around the world. Learn tips and tricks, camera and flash settings, composition and lighting, using the NYC Scenic Landmark Fort Tryon Park as your travel destination. Bring your camera and flash. Led by Upper Manhattan photographer Michael Palma. In partnership with Fort Tryon Park Trust.

Artists @ Work

This workshop will cover essential professional practices for artists of all disciplines. Topics include career development, branding, marketing and an overview of artists’ opportunities. There will be time for Q&A to address your individual needs. This workshop is appropriate for emerging and mid-career artists of all disciplines. Led by Artist and Curator Andrea Arroyo.

Support for Artists: A Resources and Services Workshop

This workshop will cover strategies for sustaining your artistic practice, including free and low-cost services and programs offered by New York Foundation for the Art, as well as other resources for finding awards, residencies, services, and opportunities available to individual artists in New York and nationwide. Preparing Digital Images for Submission

• The Fund for Creative Communities. Grants of up to $5,000 for Manhattan-based artist-community partnerships and non-profit organizations.
