Northern Manhattan Arts Alliance

NoMAA provides advocacy, technical and financial support to Northern Manhattan's growing arts community.

• Technical Support. Programs will include professional development workshops for artists.
• Grants. NoMAA also provides grants for individual artists and arts organizations that are primarily based in Washington Heights and Inwood.

• Exhibition Space. NoMAA's office at 178 Bennett Avenue has access to space for showcasing visual and performing artists, and for meetings and special events.
• Uptown Arts Stroll. Beginning in June 2008, the Uptown Arts Stroll, Northern Manhattan's six-year-old annual festival of performing and visual arts, will be produced by NoMAA, once again filling local parks, businesses and other public places with the work of local artists.
