Mónica Robles, local artist, will offer artistic verbal interpretation in English and Spanish for people with visual impairment or who just want to experience the event with narration. Mónica will be at 218th Street and Indian Road at 2:30 pm to welcome anyone visually impaired.

The best seats for the new production of “The Hip Hop Nutcracker” are in the lower loge, offering the best view and acoustics. They are on sale for $50-$100.

For every ticket purchased by NoMAA supporters half of the money will go to NoMAA. The other half will help pay for SONOS Chamber Orchestra, the Washington Heights–based ensemble that will play live during the performance. And since the production is being ticket sold really supports three great uptown arts organizations.

The Washington Heights–Inwood arts community will flood businesses, institutions, parks, open spaces and more during the 11th annual festival in June, which showcases art exhibitions, music, performances, outdoor theater, film, dance and poetry from W 155th St to W 220th St in Manhattan.

Honorees: Annette A. Aguilar, René de los Santos, Sky Pape and Janifer Wilson.

Performances by: WHIN Music Project, Zeo Muñoz, Obrien Luna, Broadway Performing Arts Center, “I Am New York Juan Rodriguez” Organic Magnetics.

Binelli–Ferman Duo world-class musicians Daniel Binelli (bandoneón) and Polly Ferman (piano) have united their talents to develop and further the appreciation of the tango, milonga, candombe, and other Latin American musical forms in the rarely heard partnership of the bandoneón and piano. Their performances reflect the elegance and the subtlety of the traditional tango, the sauciness of the milonga, the romance of the waltz, and the temperament and power of the contemporary tango.
