Tribeca Film Festival – 2013 Film Fellows class

Each year the Tribeca Film Institute selects twenty of New York’s most talented high school filmmakers to participate in a storytelling academy, culminating in an immersive experience at the Tribeca Film Festival. Fellows work closely with a professional film mentor who helps them develop their film proposals and pitch their projects in competition for a college scholarship in the amount of $2,500. Throughout the year Fellows receive individual academic support in preparation for statewide and nationwide exams, including Regents and the SAT, as well as support in the college application process. Fellows gain access to Tribeca Passport, a cultural initiative that provides them free or low cost access to theater houses, museums, and related arts institutions. In addition, Fellows are eligible for continued production support for their films through grants and access to filmmaking equipment and organizational resources.
